What’s Included in Our Substance-Free and Weapon-Free Policy

1. Zero Tolerance for Drugs and Alcohol

To maintain a sober and supportive environment:

• No drugs or alcohol of any kind are permitted on the property

• Random checks may be conducted to ensure compliance

• Immediate action will be taken if violations occur

2. Routine Room Inspections

Our staff performs periodic room checks to:

• Monitor for prohibited substances

• Ensure hygiene and safety standards

• Maintain overall wellness of the living space

3. Supportive Approach to Relapse

We understand that relapse can be part of recovery. In such cases:

• We respond with care, not punishment

• Residents are provided with referrals to treatment and counseling

• Re-entry may be possible after recovery support is completed

4. No Weapons Permitted

For the safety of all residents and staff, we prohibit all weapons, including:

• Firearms

• Knives (excluding approved kitchen tools)

• Tasers or self-defense devices

• Any other objects considered dangerous or threatening

5. Clear Intake Agreement

All residents must review and sign an agreement during intake confirming they understand and accept our substance-free and weapon-free policy. This ensures everyone shares a mutual understanding from day one.

6. Safe Disposal Protocol

Any prohibited items discovered on-site are:

• Removed immediately by staff

• Documented according to safety procedures

• Reported to relevant authorities if necessary
