Substance-Free and Weapon-Free Policy

Substance-Free and Weapon-Free Policy

At JP Stability Homes, our mission is to offer more than housing—we offer a safe, structured foundation for healing, rebuilding, and personal transformation. That’s why all our residences operate under a strict substance-free and weapon-free policy. This commitment is vital to ensuring every resident feels protected, respected, and supported in their recovery and stability journey.

What’s Included in Our Substance-Free and Weapon-Free Policy

  • We respond with care, not punishment

  • Residents are provided with referrals to treatment and counseling

  • Re-entry may be possible after recovery support is completed

For the safety of all residents and staff, we prohibit all weapons, including:

  • Firearms

  • Tasers or self-defense devices

5. Clear Intake Agreement

All residents must review and sign an agreement during intake confirming they understand and accept our substance-free and weapon-free policy. This ensures everyone shares a mutual understanding from day one.

Any prohibited items discovered on-site are:

  • Removed immediately by staff

  • Documented according to safety procedures

  • Reported to relevant authorities if necessary

7. Community Education

8. Accountability with Compassion

We hold all residents to this policy while:

  • Providing space for honest conversation

  • Offering referrals to mental health or recovery professionals

  • Supporting second chances when appropriate

9. Visitor Screening

To prevent the introduction of substances or weapons:

  • All visitors are pre-screened and logged
